For some time now, this board's administrators have been discussing how difficult it is to distinguish between members' individual case histories, and to keep track of the status of each person's current medical issues. We've noticed that some other support discussion groups have a footnote type "signature" which states some brief information concerning their medical history. Testing Guidelines

Some recent postings have raised some concerns about testing, and the possibility of provoking an episode prior to testing.

Doing anything that would purposely interfere with testing such as consuming caffeine, stimulants, even herbal stimulants etc. could not only cause you harm if you have pheo, but also give one a false positive test if there is a not a pheo. This could cause a person to undergo testing which is not necessary or even worse surgery. It is unwise to not follow...
